The Rushton's Ring Sting - Wedding Favours

I created a completely bespoke chilli-infused agave syrup as a special wedding favour for my own wedding, combining product development with a personal touch.

The syrup was made using homegrown chillies from both my garden and my mum’s garden, creating a unique ingredient with a story behind every bottle. The chillies were infused into agave syrup to create a sweet, warming chilli kick that could be used in cocktails, cooking, or wherever a little heat was needed.

Each bottle was finished with a fun, custom-designed label that included the recipe for our favourite cocktail — a Spicy Margarita — giving guests not only a keepsake from the day but also a way to enjoy it at home.

A truly personal project that brought together my passion for chilli growing, fermentation, recipe development, and creativity — a small-batch product made especially for the people celebrating with us.

Ning Nings - End-to-End Product Development - Jul 2026 - Ongoing

I worked closely with the founder of Ning Nings to develop an entirely new hot sauce brand, taking the project from an initial concept through to retail-ready products.

The brief was to create a trio of distinctive hot sauces inspired by the flavours of exotic fruits remembered from the client's childhood, including Jamoon, Genip, and Cherimoya. As these fruits are difficult to source consistently in the UK, I developed recipes that recreated their characteristic flavour profiles using readily available ingredients, ensuring the sauces could be manufactured reliably at scale without compromising the original vision.

This was a full product development project, covering every stage of the process. The package included recipe formulation, flavour development, pH testing and stability guidance, concept samples, refinement rounds, final production samples, batch scaling, production costing, ingredient sourcing, bottling guidance, nutritional support, label compliance advice, best-before guidance, and due diligence on ingredient supply chains, including allergen identification where available.

The result was a collection of three unique sauces that captured the inspiration behind the brand while being commercially viable for UK production and retail. From the first conversation through to production-ready recipes, this project demonstrates the complete product development service I offer for businesses looking to bring original food products to market.

Ryno Systems - Bespoke Recipe Creation - Ryno Saucerous, First Degree -Jun 2026 - Ongoing

I was excited to create a truly bespoke hot sauce from scratch for Ryno, building on the success of a previous white-label project we had collaborated on.

Following their initial branded hot sauce, Ryno returned to develop a completely new sauce that was unique to their brand. Working from the ground up, I created a bespoke recipe designed around their flavour goals, combining habanero chillies, freshly squeezed orange juice, gochugaru flakes, and Carolina Reaper to deliver a sauce with a balance of vibrant citrus, depth of flavour, and serious heat.

The project involved full recipe development, refinement, and production to create a finished product that was completely original rather than an adaptation of an existing sauce.

A great example of true bespoke product development — taking an idea and turning it into a unique hot sauce that reflects the personality and vision of the brand.

TGS - Corporate Gifting

I was pleased to create a bespoke white-label version of my Scotch hot sauce for TGS, developed as a corporate gift for an event they were attending in Aberdeen, Scotland.

TGS is a leading integrated energy data and services provider, offering advanced technology and solutions across the energy value chain. With a global data library and acquisition capabilities, TGS supports clients in making informed decisions across energy exploration and production worldwide.

Working directly with their team in Texas, USA, we developed a fully customised version of my Scotch hot sauce ahead of their event. The project involved rebranding the product with bespoke TGS labels, transforming an existing sauce into a personalised product that aligned with their corporate identity and event requirements.

From initial discussions through to final production and delivery, the collaboration was a great example of how a simple product can be adapted into a memorable branded experience.

A straightforward white-label project, but one that brought together food production, branding, and creativity to create something unique for TGS and their guests.

Cato Networks - Corporate Event

I was excited to create a bespoke white-label project for Cato, developing two branded hot sauces for a cyber security event they were attending in the UK.

Cato pioneered the convergence of networking and security into the cloud, delivering a Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) platform designed to simplify IT infrastructure by bringing networking and security together. Their cloud-native approach helps organisations securely connect users to applications anywhere in the world while reducing the complexity of traditional security solutions.

For this project, two of my best-selling hot sauces were selected and reimagined as branded Cato products for their event. Working closely with their team, I helped develop the names and branding concepts for the sauces, creating products that reflected the themes and personality of their company and industry.

The finished sauces were fully customised with bespoke labels, transforming existing products into memorable event giveaways that connected with their audience in a fun and unexpected way.

A great example of how a food product can become part of a wider brand experience — combining creativity, flavour, and storytelling to create something unique for an event.

Proper Snacks - New Flavour Activation

I was delighted to collaborate with Proper Snacks on a truly bespoke flavour activation project, bringing their own fermented hot sauce recipe to life as a limited-edition product experience.

Proper supplied the original concept and recipe direction, which I then developed and refined for commercial-scale production — translating a small-batch recipe into a consistent, scalable product while preserving the flavour profile and character they had envisioned. From fermentation through to final bottling, every stage was carefully considered to create something unique to their activation.

To make the launch even more special, the finished sauce was packaged in bespoke 100ml spirit flasks, creating a premium, unexpected format that perfectly matched the playful and innovative nature of the brand. Each bottle was finished with custom labels produced using fully biodegradable materials, ensuring the packaging was as thoughtful as the product inside.

This wasn’t a simple white-label project; it was a complete from-concept-to-shelf collaboration. Working closely with the Proper team to transform their own recipe into a finished, event-ready product was a brilliant challenge and a huge amount of fun.

A great example of what bespoke product development is all about — taking an idea, applying food science and production expertise, and creating something completely original that people remember.

AG Grid - AG Grill Corporate Event

I was excited to create a white-label version of my Chip hot sauce for AG Grid — rebranded as AG Grill Secret Sauce for their developer-focused events and community.

AG Grid is an open-source-first, self-funded company trusted by developers worldwide to build high-performance data grids and charts used across industries from finance and AI to aerospace. Known for handling millions of rows with extreme speed and offering deeply customisable tooling, their philosophy is very much “built by developers, for developers” — a mindset that made this collaboration feel like a natural fit.

My Chip hot sauce — a sweet, tangy, smoky chipotle blend — was reimagined as AG Grill Secret Sauce, bringing a bit of fire to a world usually defined by precision, performance, and code. Smoky heat layered over sweetness and acidity gave it a bold but balanced profile, designed to stand out at events without overpowering the moment.

A simple white-label project, but one that mirrored AG Grid’s own approach: highly engineered, adaptable, and built to perform wherever it’s deployed.

The Line Studio - Buzz Chickson Hot Cock Sauce
May 2026 

I had the pleasure of creating a fully custom fermented hot sauce for THE LINE Animation Studio, built specifically for their Buzz Chickson universe and served as part of a one-day-only Fried Chicken & Hot Sauce pop-up in Dalston with Albers.

THE LINE Animation Studio are a London-based studio known for bold, character-led animation and world-building across original IP and global brand work. For this project, everything started with Buzz Chickson — a giant cockerel-headed hipster from their upcoming mini-series Buzz Chickson & The Hype-Heads — and his “dangerously addictive” signature Hot Cock Sauce, brought to life for the first public serving of his family’s fried chicken recipe.

My sauce was developed as a fully custom ferment, based on one of THE LINE’s own animator recipes, then reimagined and refined using pineapple, yellow tomato, yellow habanero, and turmeric. It was designed to echo the character’s personality: bright, punchy, a little chaotic, and deeply moreish. Fruit-forward sweetness meets slow-building heat and earthy depth, creating something that feels playful on the surface but properly serious underneath.

Served alongside crispy fried chicken, reckless creativity, and boozy slushies, it was a collaboration that blurred the line between animation, food, and experience — exactly the kind of world-building where flavour becomes part of the storytelling.

Punks For Charity - Gig Merch

For this project, I worked with Punks For Charity on a white-label run of my Stockwell Sunshine hot sauce, created for their upcoming gig at Bush Hall on Sat 5th Sept — a night of live music raising money for The Upper Room.

Punks For Charity is a grassroots West London initiative set up by local organisers Ali Keane and Hanna, focused on backing vital community charities that don’t receive government funding. Their first event shines a light on the important work The Upper Room does supporting people facing homelessness and helping remove barriers to employment.

My Stockwell Sunshine sauce — built around pineapple, ginger, and turmeric — was produced as a limited white-label batch for resale on the night, designed to sit right alongside the energy of the event itself. Bright, warming, and gently spiced, it brought a bit of sunshine to a cause rooted in real community impact.

A simple collaboration, but one that turns flavour into fundraising — and good music into something that gives back.

PUMA - London Marathon Nitro Lab Activation
April 2026

For a white-label collaboration with PUMA, I supplied a bespoke version of my Blues hot sauce as part of their takeover of the Institute of Contemporary Arts on The Mall for London Marathon weekend — transformed into The NITRO™ Lab, a hub dedicated to performance, creativity, and community.

PUMA created an immersive space for runners and visitors alike, blending elite performance with culture: personalised marathon posters, live garment printing, a 1K treadmill challenge with a live leaderboard, innovation showcases of their latest NITRO™ technology, and a packed weekend of shakeout runs, recovery moments, and community events right in the heart of London.

My Blues hot sauce — layered with blueberry sweetness, aromatic depth, and a slow-building chilli heat — was chosen as a white-label collaboration to sit alongside the energy of The NITRO™ Lab. A bold, slightly unexpected flavour drop that mirrored the weekend’s mix of performance, creativity, and celebration.

From race-day mindset to post-run recovery, it was a simple idea: fuel the experience with something memorable, flavour-forward, and built to stand out in a space already designed to push limits.

Go2Sim - Gorilla Breath Corporate Event

For a second white-label collaboration with Go2Sim, I created a bespoke version of my Blues hot sauce for their appearance at Intertraffic 2026 in Amsterdam.

Go2Sim are known for providing professional SIM cards, routers, and IoT connectivity solutions across a wide range of industries, helping keep critical infrastructure connected. For Intertraffic 2026, they wanted something a little different to match the energy of the event and the atmosphere around the Go2Sim Arcade — a stand that became one of the busiest and most talked-about spots across the four days at the RAI Amsterdam.

My Blues sauce — packed with blueberries, aromatics, and layered chilli heat — was chosen as a unique branded giveaway alongside the arcade experience, leaderboard battles, and the now legendary Gorilla Byte competition. Rich, fruity, slightly smoky, and deceptively fiery, it brought something memorable for visitors to take away while perfectly matching the bold, creative personality Go2Sim brought to the event.

A simple white-label collaboration, but one full of flavour, competition, and a little bit of Amsterdam chaos in the very best way.

Marlin Environmental - Corporate Event

I had the pleasure of supplying a white-label version of my Scotch Hot sauce for Marlin Environmental to take along to a recent corporate event.

Over the last 20 years, Marlin Environmental has built a reputation as a leader in specialist engineering, environmental cleaning, waste management, safety training, and confined space services across both defence and commercial sectors. Their customer-first approach and focus on long-term relationships made this collaboration a natural fit — creating something memorable that people would genuinely enjoy taking away from the event.

My Scotch Hot sauce — rich, fruity, and packed with warming Scotch Bonnet heat — was rebranded especially for the occasion, giving Marlin a bold and flavour-packed alternative to standard corporate merchandise. A straightforward white-label collaboration, but one designed to leave a lasting impression long after the event had finished.

Ryno Systems - Ryno Saucerous, Second Degree -

I’m excited to share my latest white-label project: Ryno Saucerous, Second Degree sauce crafted to complement Ryno Systems’ OG Sauce. They wanted something bold, fiery and packed with flavour — so we reimagined one of my best-selling sauces to fit the bill.

For context, Ryno Systems design, manufacture, and supply integrated systems for outdoor spaces on high-rise buildings — from raised floors to roof finishing and amenity products. They take a practical, real-world approach to innovation, and we took the same approach to flavour: bright, layered, and perfectly balanced to stand alongside their OG Sauce.

Ryno Saucerous is versatile — great for dipping, marinating, or adding a punch to any dish... but only if you can really handle your own in terms of heat! It’s a straightforward collaboration: my sauce, their vision, and a little extra fire to pair with the OG.

Penge General Store

I teamed up with Penge General Store to create this little beauty: a blend of locally grown quince from Avington Road, Oak Grove Road honey, green jalapeños, and crisp apples.

It wasn't going to blow your head off — which made it perfect for toasted sandwiches, jazzing up Christmas leftovers, or just adding a gentle kick to any meal. Honestly, it was the ultimate stocking filler for the spice lover in your life.

Even better? £1 from every bottle sold went to Living Well Bromley, so we spread both   flavour and a little kindness that festive season.

Don Julio - Panaderia Don Julio Activation, London

I had the pleasure of supplying a white-label version of my Mango Reaper Sweet Dipping Sauce for the Panaderia Don Julio Día de Muertos pop-up in London at Toklas Bakery.

Don Julio chose to share Mexican culture with the world, celebrating Día de Muertos through Panadería Don Julio — a global pop-up experience bringing pan de muerto and tequila together in a way that’s both authentic and full of energy. Created with Panadería Rosetta and world-renowned chef Elena Reygadas, guests enjoyed freshly baked pan de muerto by day, and by night the space transformed into a tequila bar with cocktails from Handshake Speakeasy, all set among candlelit Ofrendas and cascades of marigolds.

My sauce — bright, fruity, with just the right Reaper heat — was chosen to complement this celebration, pairing beautifully with sweet bread, savoury bites, and craft cocktails alike. A simple white-label collaboration, but one full of flavour, fire, and festive spirit.

Chilli Willy People - OG Sauce

Excited to announce a new partnership with Chilli Willy People — I’m now their production partner, helping bring their legendary OG Sauce to more people than ever.

This isn’t a new recipe — it’s the original Guyanese method at its finest: vibrant, soulful heat with layers of flavour that have stood the test of time for over 50 years. My role is making sure every bottle carries that same depth, character, and kick while reaching more fans across the UK.

From straight-up dipping to stirring into stews or marinating meats, OG Sauce is versatile by design — robust, bold, and unapologetically full of life, just like the Chilli Willy People ethos.

Fifty years made. Forever Original. And now, with a little help from Lazy Scientist, that OG magic is more accessible than ever.

Pomme Frite Records - Big Dipper -

I recently teamed up with the tastemakers at Pomme Frite Records to create something truly special: a Bois Boudran-inspired hot sauce with a fiery twist. Bursting with Scotch Bonnet heat, fresh tarragon, and layers of bold, herbaceous flavour, this sauce is essentially a French remix of steak chimichurri — spicy, elegant, and unapologetically vibrant.

This collaboration was all about capturing flavour with rhythm — complex, punchy, and perfectly balanced, just like a good record. Whether it’s drizzled over grilled meats or used as a bold dipping sauce, it brings serious personality to the plate.

Big thanks to the Pomme Frite crew for bringing their signature energy and creative flair to this project. This sauce is where classic French flavour meets modern fire — and it hits all the right notes.

H&M Home X Gabriella Khalil - Palm Heights -

I had the incredible pleasure of collaborating with H&M Home to help launch their stunning new PALM HEIGHTS collection — a vibrant, design-forward range inspired by the effortlessly glamorous spirit of the iconic Palm Heights Hotel in the Cayman Islands.

To celebrate this dreamy 23-piece collection, I created a bespoke, pineapple-based hot sauce that captures sunshine in a bottle — tropical, punchy, and full of heat. This sauce was a special activation piece for the collection’s release, and it was a joy to craft something that feels like a taste of paradise.

Working alongside the brilliant @byleilagodfrey and the ever-stylish @studioellio_t, who designed the eye-catching label, made this project feel truly special. Together, we bottled up summer and sprinkled it with fire.

This collaboration is a perfect example of how flavour, fashion, and creativity can collide to elevate everyday moments — right at your kitchen table.

The Think Tank - Sigma Connected's Secret Sauce Box - May 2025

I had the brilliant opportunity to collaborate with The Think Tank, a leading marketing, digital, and PR agency with over 30 years of experience, on a seriously fun and flavour-packed project: The Sigma Connected Secret Sauce Kit.

As part of a bold new business campaign for Sigma Connected; an award-winning outsourcing partner, The Think Tank came up with the concept to develop a DIY hot sauce box designed to spark curiosity and creativity in equal measure. Each kit included everything needed to craft a custom bottle of hot sauce — fermented chilli mash, a signature spice blend, vinegar, and an empty bottle ready to be filled with fiery flavour. The result? A hands-on, memorable experience that left a lasting impression on potential clients.

This project was a perfect blend of marketing ingenuity and culinary creativity, turning a simple idea into a multisensory campaign that literally delivered the flavour of The Think Tank’s inventive approach.

I recently teamed up with Rosie Turner Daily for her lively Iconically Chaotic series, joining forces with her and her close friend Joe to create an exciting new hot sauce called "Hot Mess." Rosie, known for her comedy, LGBTQ+ content, and lifestyle insights, has had her work featured at Angel Comedy Club, Hoopla!, and Transmission Radio, bringing her unique energy to everything she does.

The day was an absolute riot as we filmed a fun Instagram reel and developed a truly unique sauce—a strawberry, balsamic, and black pepper creation designed to bring a playful yet sophisticated twist to her followers' meals. After the filming, I crafted 10 exclusive bottles of "Hot Mess," which were given away to lucky winners in a joint giveaway competition.

This collaboration was a joy from start to finish, blending laughter, creativity, and a touch of chaos into a one-of-a-kind project that truly captured the essence of Rosie's vibrant content style. A real spicy success!

This unique project began with Whole Beast’s original recipe, which served as the foundation for crafting a bold and unmistakable "tanger" of a hot sauce. The result is an exceptional blend of smoky, fruity, and tangy flavours, capturing the essence of agrodolce in a way that surprises and excites the palate.

Newfoundland Diagnostics - Feel The Burn -

I collaborated with Newfoundland Diagnostics, a leading expert in at-home health testing kits, to create a truly unique and groundbreaking hot sauce. Our goal was to raise awareness about the often overlooked and stigmatized issue of urinary tract infections (UTIs). This condition predominantly affects women, yet is frequently downplayed by men.

To bring attention to this important health issue, we developed a hot sauce designed to mimic the burning sensation experienced during a UTI. This unconventional approach was intended to spark conversations and highlight the discomfort and pain that many individuals endure. By creating a product that physically simulates the symptoms of a UTI, we aimed to foster empathy and understanding among those who might not fully grasp the severity of the condition.

Our collaboration with Newfoundland Diagnostics not only showcased our innovative spirit but also demonstrated our commitment to addressing critical health issues in an engaging and impactful way. This project underscored the importance of breaking down stigmas and promoting open dialogue about common yet often misunderstood health concerns.

Moot Brewery - National Star Wars Day -

Inspired by the iconic universe of Star Wars, I teamed up with Moot Brewery to create a one-of-a-kind taste experience that combines the force of craft beer with the intensity of hot sauce. At Moot's Microbrewery in Kent, Founder Calvin and I embarked on this exciting collaboration to bring a truly unique product to life.

The centerpiece of our journey is the Limited Edition "Utinni" pastry stout. This rich beer is crafted with full-on caramel, slightly salty miso, and a big hit of peanut butter. With chocolatey undertones, sweet lactose, and hints of coffee, this flavour-packed stout offers an extraordinary taste sensation.

Alongside the beer, we developed the "Togu Togu" hot sauce, a decadent blend that echoes the richness of a traditional Mexican Mole dish. This luxurious sauce combines the deep richness of caramel, the umami complexity of miso, and the nutty sweetness of peanut butter, creating a symphony of flavours that is both bold and unforgettable.

Our collaboration showcases the innovative spirit and craftsmanship of both brands. Whether you're a Jedi Master of flavour or a Sith Lord of spice, this limited edition pairing is sure to awaken the force within you, providing an unparalleled culinary adventure.

Matt Blak - Copacking Partner -

I’ve had the honour of being entrusted by the legendary Chef and fire cooking enthusiast, Matthew Burgess, to oversee the production of three of his exceptional chilli sauces, including the 2 Star Great Taste Award-winning Blak Fire! Matthew’s culinary journey is nothing short of impressive, with experience in top establishments in both Wellington and London.

In addition to his hands-on culinary work, Matthew runs his own food consultancy business, Kaiwhenua, which means "Food from the Land" in his native Maori language. Through Kaiwhenua, he provides invaluable expertise to various food-related ventures, further cementing his influence in the culinary world.

Matthew is also a proud representative of high-profile brands like Big Green Egg, known for their premium outdoor cooking equipment. His sauces have gained significant recognition and are now available in several high-end retailers, including Selfridges, Provenance Butchers, HG Walter, and Big Green Egg. This widespread availability showcases the quality and appeal of his products, making them a must-have for any chilli sauce enthusiast.

Sweet & Chilli - Air Mary Bloody Mary Mix -

This was a new avenue for me as I took on the scale up development and production of a spicy Bloody Mary Mix with Sweet & Chilli as part of their Christmas corporate gifting strategy. There's a really fun bit of history to this mix as the original recipe was devised by one of the founders who wanted to enjoy a really good in-flight Bloody Mary when they traveled and would take a small bottle of the mix onboard.

 Air Mary won a Gold Medal at the 2024 IWSC (International Wine and Spirits Awards) too and it's incredible to know that something I helped develop and bring to market has gone on to gain such a prestigious award!

Green & Hilse - Santorgreeni Wedding Favours - Sep  2023

In the breathtaking setting of Santorini, Greece, where love and beauty converge, I had the privilege of crafting a unique wedding favour that perfectly encapsulated the essence of a romantic couple's special day. We began by handpicking the finest sun-kissed green Jalapeno chillies, ensuring the highest quality and freshest flavours for our creation. To honour the bride's South of France heritage, we infused the sauce with a "French" amount of garlic, adding a personal touch that was both meaningful and delicious.

The production process was a true labor of love, mirroring the couple's commitment and devotion to each other. Our artisanal approach ensured that each bottle was meticulously crafted with precision and care. We went a step further by customising each label with a playful combination of their names and the enchanting island paradise, transforming each bottle into a cherished keepsake for their guests.

As the couple exchanged vows against the stunning backdrop of a Santorini sunset, our hot sauce favour stood as a symbol of their union. Craft Beer Cabin - 5th Birthday Sucker Punch - Aug  2023

In the bustling heart of South Norwood's High Street lies Craft Beer Cabin, a vibrant taproom known for its craft beers, natural wines, and small batch spirits. To celebrate Craft Beer Cabin's 5th birthday, I had the pleasure of producing a limited edition Lime and Ginger hot sauce, inspired by owner Nick's Lime and Ginger infused Lover Fighter Liquor.

On the day of the celebration, Little Mouse, the neighbouring cheesemonger, offered a killer celebratory cheese toastie. This delectable treat paired perfectly with the zesty, fiery kick of the hot sauce, delivering a mild, citrussy punch that delighted everyone. It truly was a match made in heaven, creating unforgettable flavours and marking a birthday to remember!

Guzzl - Guzzalo Project -

Guzzl in Brixton Market was one of my very first stockists way back in 2018. Over the years, they've supported me with invaluable advice and repeat custom, helping to shape and grow my brand. To celebrate our enduring partnership, we decided it was high time to join forces and create something truly special for their customers. The result? An exclusive buffalo sauce that embodies our shared passion for bold, exciting flavours.

Introducing Guzzalo, Guzzl’s own hot sauce that's an absolute snorter! Crafted with a meticulous blend of ripe, red cayenne peppers, the sauce is perfectly balanced with the aromatic touch of oregano and the natural sweetness of honey. This combination gently seduces your taste buds, providing a delightful symphony of flavours.

But don't be fooled by its initial charm—the healthy dose of habanero chilli adds a boar's kick that leaves a lasting impression. This fiery masterpiece is destined to redefine your experience with wings and other dishes, making them unforgettable.

Hop Burns & Black - Deptford Project -

For my second collaboration with Hop Burns & Black, I had the honour of creating a special sauce to celebrate their Deptford shop's birthday. HBB requested a Bajan-style sauce with a fruity twist, so I set to work crafting a vibrant base using fermented yellow habanero chillies, turmeric, and mustard.

Experimenting with different exotic fruits, I finally settled on a harmonious trio that complemented the base perfectly without being overpowering. The result was the Deptford "Super Fruity Hot Sauce," a true celebration of flavours!

This sauce boasts unreal levels of fruit, starting from its spicy Bajan-style base and topped with generous lashings of mango, pineapple, and passion fruit. The combination of sweet, hot, and delicious flavours makes it a standout addition to any meal. #SouthLondonBestLondon

Hop Burns & Black - Peckham Project - May 2023 - Ongoing

For this cheeky collaboration, I teamed up with the legends at Hop Burns & Black. They tasked me with developing a classic Scotch Bonnet sauce that truly represented their delightful store in Peckham. The challenge was finding the very best Scotch Bonnets, as not all chillies are created equal. After an exhaustive search, I managed to source some absolute gems from a farm in Rwanda, where only the finest chillies can be found. These exceptional Scotch Bonnets really made the sauce shine.

Gym Box - Ring of Fire Project -

After one of the hottest summers on record, fitness freaks GYMBOX brought the heat back by challenging brave Brits to feel the burn with the World's hottest gym class, "Ring of Fire", combining chilli eating with working out. 

Starting with a ginger shot and squats 'warm up', the burn in body, mind and mouth increased as participants took on the heats. Starting with Jalapeño spice paired with reverse barbell lunges, the intensity increased all the way up to the world’s hottest chilli, the infamous California Reaper - coming in at a whopping 2.2 million Scoville Heat Units (SHUs) - before taking on a 700M bike sprint!

Participants of this whacky event all received a Limited-edition Lazy Scientist x GYMBOX "Ring of Fire" hot sauce. For this finale I went with a curry spiced peach number packing some serious heat from the Carolina Reaper chilli and a good dose of homegrown Apocalypse X powder!

This project was featured in The Metro Online , The Times, The Evening Standard, Twisted Food and Seen In The City.

Brixton Chamber Orchestra -  Charity Collab - July 2022 - Ongoing

For this project I partnered with another local Brixton Charity, the Brixton Chamber Orchestra to produce a hot sauce that they could use to raise some funds during their Summer Estates Tour 2022. 

The orchestra is a versatile group of instrumentalists which provides thrilling live orchestral experiences for wide-ranging audiences in Brixton and beyond. They champion orchestral music, presenting it to new audiences in unexpected venues, revelling in innovative collaborations with all sorts of artists and genres - Grime to Gospel, Disco to Drum and Bass, Classical to Jazz, and everything in-between. 

They appear all over Brixton - in the market, pubs, clubs, parks, churches & community centres. Sometimes performing symphonies as a full 30-piece orchestra and twice a year, they tour Lambeth's housing estates, performing eclectic programmes to hundreds from the local community.

They are Brixton's own orchestra - a product of local talent and the unique blend of creative energy and cultural diversity which characterises the area.

I have now produced and donated over 500 bottles to this incredible cause.

Butter Up Coffee -  Coffee Sriracha - Jun 2022

For this collaboration I partnered with one of my favourite stockists in Tulse Hill, London. Together with Matt and Jam of Butter Up Coffee we devised a KETO fermented coffee hot sauce with a big hit of scotch bonnet heat and depth from horseradish and turmeric that would work really nicely as a dip or better yet as a Buffalo style hot sauce when mixed with melted butter.

Butter Up do Keto, with their signature BUTTER UP Coffee; a unique way to explore the Keto diet for the first time.

Having personally tried their coffee I can vouch for their Butter Up being a big hitting dose of caffeine and delicious fats to really get you going and carry you through the day!

Brixton Streetwear - Charity Collaboration -

In Partnership with the mighty Brixton Streetwear crew I came up with two sauces based on the brief "Famous Golden Arches - Sweet Curry Dip". This is an ongoing project with all profits going to the Brixton Soup Kitchen Charity.

Brixton Soup Kitchen is a community space for homeless people or people in desperate need. The Soup Kitchen provides food, drink and companionship in a warm and friendly environment on a weekly basis. They have served over 20,000 meals either eaten on site or distributed during food drop offs and outreach sessions, all  made possible with the donations and support from local community members as well as local businesses.

It's been amazing to be part of such a worthwhile cause and give a little something back to the local community where Lazy Scientist Sauces began.

The Virginia BBQ In A Box - Fathers Day -

I partnered with Catoctin Creek Distillery in Virginia and Tom Hixson of Smithfield  to create a limited edition Father’s Day gift - a Virginia-style BBQ party in a box. The box had everything you needed to recreate an authentic Virginia style barbecue at home. Three limited edition rye-based hot sauces, a bottle of award-winning rye from our friends at Catoctin Creek Distillery and our friends at Tom Hixson chose the best American-style meat cuts to accompany them. Customers also received a Spotify playlist, instructions for Cornhole (a traditional Virginia garden game), recipes for sides and cocktails and more…The Virginia BBQ In A Box was not just a unique and fun gift but also incredible value for nearly 5kg of meat, as well as the rye, sauces and added extras, comfortably serving six people.
