If you love chicken wings, you'll love this easy and delicious recipe that features a sweet and smoky glaze made with coca cola, smoky Chip Hot Sauce sauce, and smoked paprika. These wings are baked in the oven until crispy and tender, then coated with the sticky sauce that will make your mouth water. Serve them as an appetizer or a main course, with some fresh salad and ranch dressing on the side. Enjoy!
1 Kg Chicken Wings
Dry Rub
1 tablespoon smoked paprika
1 teaspoon chilli powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon garlic powder
Glaze
1 can Coca Cola
2 tablespoons butter
1 spring onion thinly sliced
Heat Oven to 190C
Combine Dry Rub ingredients, mix evenly & cover the
chicken wings. Leave to marinade for a minimum of 15 mins.
Add Cola & Hot Sauce to a pan, bring to a boil and reduce
to a thick syrup (about 20mins).
Add butter and put to one side until wings are part cooked.
Place wings on baking tray and part cook (20mins).
Take out wings and toss in glaze.
Put back in oven for another 20 mins.
You may need to turn them once or twice.
Place wings on a plate and sprinkle over the spring onion.
